Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Women's Healthcare Practice

Location: Novant Health

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Summary

Become part of Novant Health’s Women’s Healthcare Practice as a Certified Medical Assistant. You will support physicians and healthcare providers in a women-focused environment, assisting with exams, procedures, and patient care coordination to ensure the highest quality of care for female patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in evaluating patient needs and contribute to care plans specific to women's health.
  • Accurately document patient information in medical records following practice policies.
  • Prepare medical equipment and assist during exams, treatments, and procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care.
  • Provide patient education on women’s health topics and address questions and concerns.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
  • At least one year of experience in a physician’s office, preferably in women’s healthcare.
Certifications
  • Current Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification.
