Position Overview

The Floating Medical Assistant will provide coverage and support across multiple HealthyU Clinics locations, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate patient records and update EHR systems
  • Support front-office functions, including patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals as necessary.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor procedures
  • Prepare and sanitize examination rooms, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Collect and document patient history and vital signs accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Provide patient education and post-visit instructions
  • Maintain and restock office and medical supplies as necessary
  • Travel to different clinic locations as needed to assist providers and support staff
Requirements
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant Certification required
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various clinic locations
  • Adaptability and ability to work in different team environments
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
