HealthyU Clinics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide essential clinical and administrative support across back-office and front-office roles. You will assist providers during examinations, maintain accurate patient records in EHR, and educate patients on treatment plans and post-visit care.

The role requires a Medical Assistant Certification and current BLS; strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for thriving in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Adaptability and ability to work in different team environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update EHRs timely.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with providers, front office, scheduling, and insurance coordination.
• Prepare, clean, and sanitize examination rooms and equipment per infection control standards.
• Stock and restock clinical and office supplies; keep exam rooms ready for patient care.
• Document patient history and vital signs accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Perform duties efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
