University Physicians' Association, Inc. (UPA) is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for Women’s Care Group in Knoxville, TN.

The CMA will work closely with physicians to deliver a seamless patient experience and manage a range of duties in a fast-paced office. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and skilled in communicating test results, scheduling, and pre-authorizations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical office/clinic experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and examinations.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Handle prior authorizations and pre-certifications for imaging.
• Obtain test results and communicate them to patients.
• Perform phlebotomy and related tasks.
• Maintain professional relationships with physicians, patients and families.
