Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Family Practice in Mokena, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with weekday hours 7:30AM-5:00PM and no Saturdays. Travel to other local clinics may be required. The ideal candidate will have MA certification and experience with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities include patient registration, vitals, assisting physicians, and basic labs. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or health sciences courses.
• Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA or willing to certify.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2+ years in a medical office assisting with patient care.
• Experience using an electronic medical record (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vitals, and health history collection.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, dressing changes and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, charting and filing updates.
• Perform onsite lab testing (EKG, PFT, glucose, urine pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean, comfortable exam rooms and provide excellent patient service.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.
