SIGN ON BONUS: $2,500

Schedule:

Full-Time, 8am to 4:30pm

General Summary:

Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider). Responsibilities include assisting with treatments ordered by the provider, performing select clinical duties, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms.

Responsibilities:
  1. Performs basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
  2. Manages supplies, including ordering and stocking, and maintains a clean environment.
  3. Documents provider-patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribes orders for labs, radiology, and medications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalency OR 1 year of relevant job-specific experience.
  • Medical Assistant certification obtained within 3 months of hire or transfer date; accepted from any issuing authority.
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience across multiple specialties, including OBGYN, GI, and General Surgery.
