Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience.
• Wisconsin-only: high school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience plus medical assistant training or certification.
• BLS HCP certification required.
• Multiple medical assistant credentials accepted (CCMA, CMA, CMAC, CMAC alternatives, NCMA, NRCMA, RMA, ARMA).

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and prepares examination rooms.
• Performs basic clerical duties: answering phones, scheduling patients, filing.
• Maintains supplies: orders, stocks, and keeps a clean environment.
• Documents provider encounters and transcribes orders for labs, radiology, and medications.
• Works in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic environment.
