Job summary

Kettering Health Network in Beavercreek, Ohio is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care in a physician office setting. Under supervision of the provider and practice manager, you will assist with examinations, patient interviews, vital signs, and chart updates.

The position requires certified MA credentials (CCMA, CMA, NCMA, RMA) or completion of KHMG Medical Assistant Training Program within 15 months of hire; Ohio LPN license is an alternative.

Qualifications

• 1-year clinical experience in a medical/physician office setting preferred.
• Practical knowledge in examination process, diagnostic and treatment room procedures, medical equipment and instruments, safety hazards and precautions, confidentiality/discretion.
• Experience with use of electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider in examination and treatment of patients and perform delegated duties under supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination and cross-train to support patient care delivery.
