Job summary

Tareen Dermatology is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Fargo, ND. The MA will work closely with providers to prepare patients for visits, document encounters, assist with procedures, and educate patients to ensure a smooth visit.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Monday–Friday, daytime hours with no weekends or holidays; full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• Previous healthcare, patient care, or medical office experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Accurately document provider encounters and procedures within the EMR.
• Assist providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
• Generate and submit orders as directed by providers.
• Communicate pathology results and follow-up instructions to patients.
• Answer and return patient phone calls in a timely manner.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Handle and label specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic safety standards.
• Travel periodically for training and support purposes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

The Medical Assistant works closely with our providers to deliver exceptional patient care. This role includes preparing patients for visits, documenting medical encounters, assisting with procedures, providing patient education, and helping ensure a seamless experience throughout each patient’s visit.

Qualifications

Required

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
