Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certified Medical Assistant or CCMA/CMA/NCCT/NAHP/MedCA certification preferred or required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records information in medical records.
• Measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Maintains basic computer skills and input duties.
• Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing, with patients and staff.
