Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant in Illinois to join a patient‑centered care team. The role covers clinical and administrative support, including patient care, registration, and scheduling in a fast-paced clinic.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; completion of an MA program or 1 year MA experience is acceptable. Certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience may be substituted for program completion.
• Candidates must obtain CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and front/back-office functions to support clinic operations.
