Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join the patient care team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Provider, assist with appointment scheduling, and maintain medical record documentation in EPIC EHR.

The CMA may serve as a provider’s scribe as needed. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent with CMA program completion, active CMA/RMA certification, and current BLS certification or obtained

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with CMA/MA program options as listed.
• Active CMA/RMA certification required.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of the patient care team.
• Assists with patient intake and documentation.
• Vaccine and medication administration support.
• Clerical and organizational tasks; maintains medical records in EPIC.
• Assists with appointment scheduling and referrals.
• Acts as a clinician scribe as needed.
