Job summary

SSM Health’s Monroe Clinic Hospital is hiring for a Regular Medical Assistant. You will assist with examinations and treatments under nurse/provider supervision, interview patients, measure vitals, prepare exam rooms, and perform basic clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with provider-ordered treatments under supervision.
• Interview patients, record vitals, prep exam rooms.
• Handle basic clerical tasks: phone, records, scheduling, filing.
• Manage supplies: ordering, stocking, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders for labs, imaging and meds.
• Maintain alertness and safety in all duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
