Lifepoint Health network through UP Health System - Portage in Michigan is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Urology clinic. The role involves direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and thorough charting in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Schedule is 8-5, 40 hours per week, day shift, weekdays, non-exempt with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and referrals incentive for current employees. BLS preferred, no holiday obligations.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license is required.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

How you'll contribute

What we're looking for

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) license required and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


• Minimum Work Experience: One-year related experience, preferred. One year clinic experience, preferred.


• Basic Life Support (BLS).
