The Certified Medical Assistant provides indirect and direct patient care within the scope of practice, contributing to patient assessments, documentation, planning, and administering medications under provider supervision, following standards and guidelines.
High School/GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Externship or clinical training preferred; 1 year of recent Medical Assisting experience preferred.
