Job summary

Tanner Bridge Clinic in Carrollton is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to render clinical care under physician direction and support daily clinic operations. You will perform patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, handle routine tasks, and assist in maintaining quality patient care across Tanner Medical Group locations.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, CMA certification, and at least three months of related experience; travel to all Tanner

Qualifications

• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant by the AAMA or a Registered Medical Assistant by the AMT. We will accept certification from NCCT, NAHP and NHA. MA or nursing school may be used as part of the experience required.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and/or other physicians.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work following accepted clinical standards.
• Prior experience in performing x-rays and EKG preferred.
• NOTE: BLS within 90 days
• Requires travel to all Tanner Medical Group Locations.
