Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Super Kids Mobile Clinic

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Mobile Clinic) who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide clinical support in various ambulatory settings, promoting safe, high-quality, family-centered care that is cost-effective and age-appropriate.

This position involves driving our mobile vans or trucks to different locations around Houston to serve patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Texas Driving License with a clear driving record
• Technical diploma from a medical assisting or emergency medical technician program
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Healthcare and pediatric experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, outpatient care tasks, and customer service
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to operate basic medical equipment
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Pediatric vaccinations experience highly preferred
• All candidates must undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety

Required Certifications

• CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (National Healthcare Association)
• CMA-AAM - Certified Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants)
• EMT Certifications (Texas Department of State and Health Services): EMT, EMT-A, EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P
• LIC PAR - Licensed Paramedic (Texas Department of State and Health Services)
• NCMA - National Medical Assistant Certification (National Center for Competency Testing)
• NRCMA - Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (National Association of Health Professionals)
• RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (various recognized organizations)
