Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Short Pump Pavilion Multispecialty, Days, PRN. The role requires MA certification, valid BLS, and a mix of on-site duties in Henrico, VA.

Individual must demonstrate strong organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities within a busy ambulatory setting. Qualified candidates should have MA program education or active certification, with preferred experience in academic health care.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national association.
• One year of MA work experience within the last three years if not a graduate of an MA program.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred; AA/CAAHEP/ABHES credentials valued.
