The Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant performs routine administrative and patient care support duties in a medical practice to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients and ensures that the office runs smoothly.
Certifications: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (ARMA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AAH) - American Allied Health (AAH); Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AMT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT); Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).

The compensation range for this position is $17.33 per hour - $28.07 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
