Overview

The Certified Medical Assistant assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the directions of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN).

Qualifications

Certifications: Driver's License - Secretary of State (SOS); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AMT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT); Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Education: H.S. Diploma/GED. Work Experience: Certified medical assistant.

Responsibilities

1. Clinical Excellence Focus: Promotes evidence-based practice, assesses patient status, assists in care planning, implements interventions, evaluates patient progress, and completes documentation.
2. Work Environment & Culture Focus: Collaborates with the healthcare team, prioritizes work, advocates for patients, and utilizes communication strategies for high team performance.

Compensation and Benefits
