Certifications: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AAH) - American Allied Health (AAH); Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AMT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT); Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (ARMA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA),

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.Performs and records patient vital signs on patients who are eighteen years and older . Has knowledge of how to record patient information using an electronic medical record system. Scheduling follow up appointments for patients being seen in the office. MOA may perform point of care testing applicable to patients needs during their appointment. Works closely with nursing staff and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow and create positive team work

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.33per hour - $28.07per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
