Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Tuckahoe Orthopaedics & Physical Therapy, part of Bon Secours Mercy Health. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide excellent patient care in a supportive environment.

Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant works closely with physicians to deliver high-quality care, including updating health records, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms.

Essential Functions
  • Greeting patients with respect and professionalism
  • Reviewing and updating patient charts
  • Measuring vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Performing clerical duties like checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones
  • Resolving problems promptly and efficiently
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Active Medical Assisting certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, NCCT)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • One year of healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office (preferred)
