Position Overview

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate, patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility is conducting Medicare Wellness visits under physician supervision, scheduling follow-ups, processing referrals and authorizations, and documenting all actions accurately. Additional duties include rooming patients, recording vital signs, administering medications and injections, performing CLIA-waived tests, EKGs, assisting with in-office procedures, and maintaining proper waste disposal and supplies.

Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Active CMA certification through AAMA, NCCT, or NHA, or current LPN licensure in Idaho
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques, standard precautions, and basic pharmacology
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness to participate in professional development
  • Minimum of one year CMA or LPN experience
