Job summary

The Women's Healthcare Associates, LLC in Lenexa, KS seeks an Obstetrics & Gynecology Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-first OBGYN team.

This full-time role supports providers, rooms patients, records vitals, and manages pre-visit planning, with an emphasis on compassionate, personalized care and strict infection control.

Applicants must complete CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCCT and BLS, and a high school diploma; experience with ECW EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program with CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCCT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients; record vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare for examination.
• Assist providers with minor office procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Prepare and restock exam rooms while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards.
• Manage pre-visit planning, chart preparation, and care-gap closures.
• Administer follow-up calls, lab result notifications, and prescription routing.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and conduct equipment checks.

We are committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to every individual we serve. We're looking for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to work with us.

Clinical and Administrative Responsibilities

• Rooming Patients; Record Vital Signs, Update detailed medical histories, Preparation for examination


• Assist Providers with Minor Office Procedures


• Point-Of-Care Testing


• Preparation and Restock Exam room while maintain strict OSHA and Infection Control Standards


• Management of Pre-Visit Planning, Chart Preparation, and Care-Gap Closures


• Administer Follow-up Patient Phone Calls, Lab result notifications, and Prescription Routing


• Maintain Medical Supply Inventory and Equipment Checks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED


• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program with current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NCCT)


• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR Certification

Preferred

• 1+ years of hands-on clinic experience


• Proficiency in specific EHR/EMR system (ECW)
