The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs clinical support procedures including, but not limited to: assisting physicians or physician's assistants, blood draws, injections, lab tests, rooming patients, taking vital signs, and utilizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system including review and preparing patient's appointment encounters and completion of referral forms.
