Department Profile: At the Duke Specialty Infusion Center Clinic 2A, we provide infusions and injections for many conditions, ranging from anemia to chronic infections. We also offer add-on (time-sensitive) infusions, which often eliminate the need for an emergency room visit.

Job Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing direct patient care. The CMA performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in a Health System medical practice, assists medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients, and ensures the clinic/office runs smoothly.
