Job summary

Tanner is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Heart and Vascular department. The role focuses on clinical care under physician direction and supporting daily office operations to ensure quality patient care in a busy specialty clinic.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and CMA certification; CMA (AAMA), CCMA, RMA, NCMA, or CMAC accepted. Prior X-ray and EKG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day to day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Will accept the following certifications CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), or CMAC (AMCA).
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patients, hospitals, and or other physicians.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work by accepted clinical standards.
• Prior experience of performing x-rays and EKG preferred.
