Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Duluth, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse. Duties span front and back office tasks in a busy outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have an MA or Nursing Assistant program completion or at least two years of related clinical experience, plus a high school diploma or GED. CMA-BLS certifications may be preferred as part of the hire.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Duty assignments vary and include front office and back office functions.
