Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Family Medicine Quentin for a full-time position in the Lebanon area.

HOURS: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, Saturday rotation

Summary:

  • Provide clinical support services to patients under supervision of a provider or licensed nurse, covering all age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Perform duties such as preparing patients, administering injections and medications, assisting with procedures, performing point-of-care testing, wound care, providing clinical advice, and coordinating care.
  • Maintain exam rooms, assist with outreach, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Handle patient information confidentially and support regional travel if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, RMA, or NAHP). If not certified, must complete training prior to hire and obtain certification within 6 months.
  • CPR Certification (AHA Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license for regional positions.
  • In good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs.

Credentials:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
