We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Family Medicine Abbeyville for a full-time position in the Lancaster area.

Location & Hours

• Location: Family Medicine Abbeyville, 101 Abbeyville Rd., Lancaster, PA
• Hours: Full-Time, Days, Evenings, and Weekend rotation

Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical support to patients under supervision of a provider or licensed nurse.
2. Prepare patients for visits, administer injections, and provide observations for providers.
3. Administer medications and assist with procedures and minor surgeries.
4. Perform Point of Care Testing and wound care.
5. Provide clinical advice via phone or electronic communication following protocols.
6. Assist with test tracking, supply management, and patient outreach.
7. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and daily huddles.
8. Handle patient information confidentially and support regional travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, RMA, or NAHP).
• CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license for regional positions.
• In good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal/state insurance programs.

Credentials & Education

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
