We are hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant in West Chester, PA. Must be able to draw blood.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with one closing shift from 11:30 am - 7:30 pm. No weekends.

Position Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant engages with Axia Women’s Health patients by assisting with care, recording patient information, and providing guidance on clinical services, under the supervision of senior physicians. Responsibilities include:

  1. Patient Care:
    • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and vital signs.
    • Organize patient flow and communicate delays effectively.
    • Assist patients with transfers, dressing, specimen collection, and preparation for exams.
    • Help providers with procedures and screenings.
    • Relay instructions and provide information to patients and families.
  2. Patient Records:
    • Manage medical records, lab reports, and hospital notes.
    • Complete forms and requisitions for billing and documentation.
    • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  3. Quality Control and OSHA:
    • Prepare instruments and maintain infection control standards.
    • Clean and restock exam rooms and equipment.
    • Follow OSHA guidelines and quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Current certification (RMA, CCMA, NCMA) and CPR certification.
  • At least 1 year of recent medical assisting experience or internship in a medical office.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
