Overview

We’re seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Urology/Gynecology practice in Tampa. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians and patients, providing direct clinical support, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

What You’ll Do

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for Urology and Gynecology visits and procedures
• Record vital signs, review medical history, and document accurately in the EMR system
• Assist physicians with specialty exams, procedures, and follow-up care
• Support lab work, specimen collection, and medication administration as needed
• Manage patient calls with professionalism, providing triage and assistance as appropriate
• Maintain OSHA compliance and follow all clinic safety and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians and teammates to ensure efficient clinic flow

What We’re Looking For

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
• Prior experience in Urology, Gynecology, or other specialty care strongly preferred
• Strong clinical skills (rooming, vitals, procedures, patient intake, EMR documentation)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle patient concerns and phone triage effectively
