Position Location: Kent County Juvenile Detention Facility, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Responsibilities

The certified medical assistant delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMA assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours and works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient, and other staff members.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CMA certificate
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations; functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in correctional or behavioral settings desired but not required
