Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day-shift, full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). You will join a care team led by physicians, delivering patient care and handling clinical and administrative tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CMA or RMA certification, EMR and MS Office familiarity, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred are an associate degree and clinic/hospital experience.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patient’s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
