Job summary

Military & Health Research Foundation (MHRF) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the team at CRDAMC, Fort Hood, TX. You will provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced, 24/7 teaching hospital, assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and daily clinic operations while upholding Government standards.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of post-graduate experience, with strong communication and customer service skills to

Qualifications

• US Citizen.
• Current CMA certification from AAMA/ARMA or equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• Graduate of a CMA program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or US Armed Forces.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical and administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and staff.
• Enter demographics, diagnoses and visit data into clinical systems.
• Perform basic medical procedures and assist with patient examinations.
• Assist with scheduling, patient check-in, and care coordination.
• Maintain patient records and prepare exam rooms for patient arrivals.
