Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Haywood Women's Care. The role supports patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and administrative tasks within a collaborative, patient-centered practice.

Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities. The candidate should hold a state CMA/RMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as CMA/RMA or similar is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Previous medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under provider supervision
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitor patient condition
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Maintain examination areas, equipment, and medical supplies
• Handle administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, patient registration
