Position Overview

This medical office position involves providing direct nursing care under the supervision of a physician, assisting medical providers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with practice policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in patient needs assessment and health plan documentation.
2. Complete all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record following charting policies.
3. Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
4. Arrange specialized consultations and testing appointments as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a physician's office.
• Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification required.
