Job summary

Grady Health System seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care in an ambulatory clinic. The CMA works under physician supervision and reports to the clinic manager for administrative guidance. The role ensures safe, organized exam rooms and supports smooth patient flow while modeling professional behavior.

The CMA must maintain competency in clinical skills and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality outpatient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• CMA certification from an approved national examining agency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tasks under physician supervision in ambulatory care.
• Maintain inventory and organize exam/procedure rooms to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and clinic operations.
• Serve as a role model and provide guidance to other CMAs on the team.
