Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support ambulatory clinic patient care under physician supervision. The CMA will maintain patient flow, assist with procedures, and uphold safety and quality standards within the clinic environment.

The role requires a CMA certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA), BLS, and excellent communication with patients and health care teams. A high school diploma or GED is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• CMA certification from AAMA, NCCT, or NHA required.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, physicians and health care team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with clinical tasks under supervision.
• Maintain organized patient flow and a safe, clean clinic environment.
• Demonstrate competency in all skills related to patient care and serve as a role model for CMAs.
