Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or equivalent work experience.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under physician direction and lead nurse supervision in ambulatory care.
• Greet patients, collect data, and prepare for examination.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Document data, treatments, and education per policy and department standards.
• Coordinate scheduling and referrals for specialty tests and consultations.
