Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. seeks an enthusiastic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support the Bucks County Department of Corrections medical unit in Doylestown, PA. The role includes medical records requests, administrative reports, and Continuity of Care releases.

You will perform clerical duties, coordinate appointments, maintain confidential information, and assist with billing as part of a busy medical team.

Qualifications

Completed an approved Medical Assistant program.
Minimum of 2 years medical assistant or medical office administrative support.
Typing ability and clerical proficiency.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multitasking.
Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Good communication and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls from other departments and facilities.
Schedule all outside appointments and consults.
Order supplies for the Medical Department.
Collect data for end of month reports.
Filing, faxing, and data entry.
Scan documents into the computer.
Maintain staff log and confidentiality of information.
Provide clerical support to the medical department including reports and letters.
