Mercy Health’s Westside Internal Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care physician in delivering high-quality patient care. The CMA will review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms in accordance with state guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification (or equivalent), has strong customer-service skills, and can handle clerical duties and chart reviews.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active CMA certification (or equivalent) per state guidelines.
• One year medical assistant experience preferred; two years clerical in a physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide respectful customer service.
• Review and update patient charts, verify diagnostic tests and records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiratory rate, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical tasks such as inventory checks, referrals tracking, and phone coverage.
