Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare for examination, including vital signs and EMR documentation.

• Schedule requested testing and labs.
• Ensure sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Prepare solutions for injections.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and adhere to safety guidelines.

• Greet all patients with a friendly smile, prepare patients for examination including taking vital signs and documenting EMR chart with patient concerns, and symptoms


• Assist Providers with patient treatments


• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times


• Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement


• Assist with scheduling of requested testing and labs


• Ensure safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures


• Prepare solutions for injections


• Complies with Policies and Procedures, and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment


• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.


• Perform other related duties as assigned
