Job summary

Vein & Vascular Institute is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing vascular specialty practice. We value dependable, patient-focused team players who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, strong clinical and administrative skills, and be willing to travel between satellite offices. Prior vascular or vein practice experience is preferred, with a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • CMA certification is required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience in a vascular/vein or specialty practice is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and documenting medical history in the EMR.
  • Assist physicians during office visits and clinical procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy during visits.
  • Prepare procedure rooms and keep a sterile, organized environment.
  • Prepare medications and solutions for injections as directed.
  • Schedule diagnostic testing, lab work, and follow-up appointments.
  • Travel to satellite office locations as required (travel reimbursement provided when applicable).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
  • Follow HIPAA and practice policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver patient care.
  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)Our vascular specialty practice is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced specialty practice and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. Experience in a vascular, vein, surgical, or other specialty practice is preferred, although candidates with strong outpatient clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.

  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during office visits and clinical procedures.

  • Prepare medications and solutions for injections as directed by the provider.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team member.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations as needed.
