• Schedule: Monday 8:00am - 8:00pm, Tuesday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

Position Overview

The CMA provides support to primary care providers and delivers clinical care including vital signs, ECG, injections, specimen processing, and more. It participates in pre-visit planning, explains procedures to patients, and may float to other clinics. The role supports the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care, operating under NC Medical Board and NC Board of Nursing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and vital signs
• Assist with procedures and administer medications
• Document lab results and assist with population management
• Review provider appointments and complete vision/hearing tests
• Perform clinical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting Program
• 1-3 years healthcare experience; elderly care experience preferred
• CMA or RMA Certification and CPR

• Proficient in lab specimen processing and clinical tasks
