Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II (CMA/RMA/CCMA) for the Same‑Day Access Clinic. You will support providers, manage patient flow, and perform clinical tasks in a fast-paced primary care setting.

The role requires 2–5 years MA experience, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, and strong team collaboration. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends, and the clinic offers full benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be CMA/RMA/CCMA certified.
• 2–5 years MA experience in healthcare.
• Primary Care experience required; Urgent Care preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes: vitals, histories, medications, allergies.
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, splinting.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, specimen collection, POCT.
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.

Medical Assistant II (Certified/Registered)

A Day in the Life

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and splinting
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration
• Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across clinical settings
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and test results
• Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations and patient registration
• Maintain inventory and prepare exam/procedure rooms
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and compliance standards
• Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and teamwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)-Required
• 2–5 years of MA experience in a healthcare setting
• Primary Care experience required; Urgent Care preferred
• Graduate of an accredited MA program
• BLS certification required
• Skilled in vitals, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and clinical room setup
• Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and sterile technique
• Familiarity with EHR systems and accurate documentation
• Strong medical terminology and scheduling skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinic
• Reliable attendance and commitment to exceptional patient care
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
