Job summary

Chosen Pediatrics Care in Magnolia, TX is seeking a passionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will assist physicians with patient examinations, administer vaccines, record vitals, and support front and back office operations to keep patient flow smooth.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA or equivalent), has experience in pediatric or primary care settings, is proficient with EMR software, and remains calm and compassionate in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent).
• Experience in pediatric or primary care preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR software.
• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with pediatric patients and families.
• Calm, compassionate demeanor in a busy clinic.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and providers with pediatric patient examinations and procedures.

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications as directed by the provider.
• Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
• Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits.
• Communicate care instructions, appointments, and follow-ups to patients and families.
• Support front and back office operations to ensure smooth patient flow.
