Pride Health is hiring a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to support our client at a medical facility in Kissimmee, FL. This is an 8-week contract to hire and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Specific Duties:

• Assist the Physician with injections and EKGs.
• Chart prep, room patients, scanning/faxing records, phone intake calls, and other duties as assigned.
• Organize, stock, and clean exam rooms
• Perform PT/INRs
• Maintain quality control standards

Must have Skills/Qualifications/Education / Work Experience:

• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA certification.
• Have 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting.
• Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge.
• ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience.
• Associate’s degree in medical assisting.
• eCW experience

Additional Information:

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Job Duration: 8 weeks (Contract to hire)

Shifts: Mon–Fri, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: - $21 - $23/hour
