Zusammenfassung

Pediatric Care North, Kansas City Northland, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our outpatient team. This full-time role supports pediatric patients with vital signs, immunizations, screenings, and routine office procedures while delivering compassionate family-centered care.

The ideal candidate has MA training, CMA/RMA/CCMA where possible, strong clinical skills, and a positive, team-focused attitude. Evening and some Saturday shifts provide a $5/hr differential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or equivalent clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred
• Current BLS certification, or is able to obtain one upon hire

Aufgaben

• Room patients, take vital signs and histories, and document in our EHR.
• Administer childhood and adolescent immunizations and medications as directed by providers
• Perform vision and hearing screenings
• Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
• Collect specimens and perform basic in-office lab tests
• Communicate patient and parent concerns promptly to providers and nursing staff
• Help kids feel safe and comfortable, and reinforce provider instructions with parents
• Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms to keep the clinic day running smoothly

Requirements

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
• One evening shift per week (+$5/hr), until 8:00 PM

• $18.00–$22.00 per hour, plus $5/hr evening and Saturday differentials
