You will prepare patients, document histories and vitals, assist with examinations, perform clinical duties, and maintain infection-control standards in an active clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical Competency must be achieved within 3 months of hire and every 3 years.
• Completion of a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program OR qualifying healthcare experience (CA, CNA, EMT, CHA).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic triage, clinic procedures, and age-appropriate vital signs.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and EMR/EHR skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and review charts for required forms, labs, and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and medication information.
• Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, treatments, and patient transfers.
• Perform specimen collection, POCT, 12-lead EKGs, nebulizer treatments, dressing changes, and other duties within competency.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment, and infection-control standards.
• Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Support patient flow and provide cross-coverage as needed.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition or safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
